Hello this is Slade in Switzerland on tour with Steel Circle my new project which includes Kerri Kelly from Slash's Snakepit and Alice Cooper, Robbie Crane from RATT on bass, Leon from Vengeance and J.J. Bozzi from Lausanne. This beautiful view in the background is of Vinyards and the clouds are a little low today as it's February 2010, The response from the audiences has been more than I could have hoped for, the shows have been full and the band is kick-ass, looking forward to playing again tonight

Chris On Tour with Michael Schenker Group, Dec. 2009

We, 'The Michael Schenker Band' were more than a little apprehensive about the St. Petersburg/ Moscow Nightrain as on Nov 27th 2009 it was bombed by Chechen Rebels with the tragic loss of 26 lives. We traveled on Dec 12th only 2 weeks after that bombing but our fears were groundless I'm pleased to report and we arrived without mishap to a freezing (14 below) Moscow.

Little did we know that the train would be used again going the other way because Wayne Finlays' passport was inadvertantly left at the hotel when we went to Moscow airport to leave Russia for Finland. He had to take the train BACK to St. Petersburg and on further to Helsinki ably assisted by Julia from Yegor's office RIFF.


These other pics are of my youngest son Jack who plays drums (incredibly well) for Symphony Cult www.symphonycult.com They did a gig in Bristol O2 academy England on the 12th of june last year 2009 and Jack spotted this picture of me on the stairs taken when I played there with Asia about 5 years ago, so he sent it to me. I played there with MSG on Dec. 20th 2009 so I sent him the pic of me standing by the same photo.

It feels very cool to have your sons follow in your footsteps, even doing the same gigs as myself (other son Calum is a drummer too, although I did warn them both).

The other pic is of John Payne & Guthrie Govan my fellow band-mates in Asia who were further up the stairs too!! If the photographer happens to read this I wonder if he would send both pics to me.

The other is a pic of my daughter Carys on her funny farm in the Seattle area USA, I'm on the left of the fence, if there's any confusion!!
